About Carissa Eichler

Backgroud: 

Carissa grew up in a small Virginia town named Christiansburg, neighboring town to Va. Tech. The youngest of three children, her father James was a mechanic for the Radford Army Ammunition Plant. Her mother, Rachel was a seamstress for the Christiansburg Garment Factory then ran her own in home alteration business. Carissa enjoyed playing outdoors, climbing trees, watching cartoons on Saturday morning and spending time with her family. All throughout school, she played the trombone in jazz, symphonic and marching band. 

Carissa's first career was in the medical field. She attended undergraduate studies at Jefferson College and went on to receive her Master's from West Va University in Occupational Therapy. She served 27yrs as an Occupational Therapist for mostly Trauma 1 hospitals in Salem and Farifax VA, then in Charlotte N.C. where she moved in 2006. 

Always wanting to be a Realtor, she became focused on a dual career path in Real Estate in 2017. She has been heavily involved working with first time home buyers, but also representing sellers and assiting investors. She enjoys hosting booths at vendor events and hosting First Time Home Buyer Seminars. She joined Northgroup in 2025 and couldn't be happier. 

When she isn't providing assistance to her Real Estate clients, she is playing with her two miniature schnauzers Huntington and Lincoln, spending time with her wife Lori, cooking and watching movies.
